Cataclismic variable stars

Example observations of cataclismic variable stars.

V5579 Sgr (Nova Sgr 2008), was discovered by ASAS (according to VSNET-ALERT 10075) on 16th of April 2008 like a star 11.7 mag, which coordinates (J2000, according to AAVSO Special Notice #105) are: α: 18h05m58.9s, δ: -27° 13′ 56″.3
