Optical Transient search by RDOT and Pi of the Sky cameras

Example of meteor observation 2005.02.05, 4:49:45 UT

Pi of the Sky has not observed the meteor itself
but its trace blown by the wind.
10s exposures with 2s intervals are shown.
Field 100 x 100 arcmin (1 arcmin/pixel)
centered at RA = 9h 24.5m, Dec = -10o59'

Below, the meteor is seen at the top of RDOT image and at the bottom of Pi of the Sky image.
Field 7o x 22o, North up.
Observed parallax ~15o at the base of 30 km gives the distance to the meteor ~100 km.
